<\/a>Teri Polo is the co-lead on the new ABC Family show \u201cThe Fosters\u201d, produced by ABC Family and Jennifer Lopez. Polo is best known for her role as Robert De Niro\u2019s daughter, Pam Byrnes, in the \u201cMeet the Parents\u201d theatricals. She recently starred in \u201cThe Little Fockers,\u201d the third installment of the movie franchise. She recently completed production on the feature \u201cBeyond\u201d opposite Jon Voight. She also has two additional features to be released in early 2013; \u201cWe Have Your Husband\u201d and \u201cA Christmas Story\u201d. She is just wrapped the Lifetime movie \u201cJayne\u2019s Story\u201d. She also recently completed production on the Hallmark movie \u201cTaste of Romance,\u201d which was released this past May.  Polo was also currently recurring on \u201cLaw & Order: Los Angeles\u201d. She played the character of Casey Winters, wife of Det. Rex Winters, played by Skeet Ulrich. Teri\u2019s other recent credits include the feature film \u201cThe Hole,\u201d directed by Joe Dante, and the NBC miniseries \u201cThe Storm\u201d.<\/p>\n

Polo\u2019s other film credits include \u201cBeyond Borders\u201d co-starring Angelina Jolie, the suspense thriller \u201cThe Unsaid\u201d opposite Andy Garcia and \u201cDomestic Disturbance\u201d opposite John Travolta and Vince Vaughn. She co-starred opposite De Niro and Stiller in \u201cMeet the Parents,\u201d for which she won a People\u2019s Choice Award, and its sequel \u201cMeet the Fockers.\u201d<\/p>\n

Originally from Dover, DE, Polo began her performing career as a dancer. By 13, she was attending New York\u2019s School of Ballet. The summer before her senior year, she was signed to a modeling contract, which led to a role as \u201cKristin\u201d on the daytime drama \u201cLoving.\u201d Polo made her primetime debut in the dramatic series \u201cTV 101.\u201d Television audiences may remember her as \u201cMichelle Capra,\u201d the doctor\u2019s wife who was determined to master the strange surroundings (and even stranger characters) of Cicely, AK, in \u201cNorthern Exposure.\u201d She also starred in the comedy series \u201cI\u2019m with Her\u201d as well as David E.
