<\/a>Michelle Vicary<\/b>\u00a0is the Executive Vice President of Programming for Crown Media Family Networks, home of Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movie Channel, which is owned and operated by Crown Media Holdings, Inc. Vicary is charged with the strategic oversight of all production and original programming for Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movie Channel including movies, series, and specials supervising acquisitions, program scheduling, and on-air scheduling promotional strategy for both networks.<\/p>\n

Under Vicary\u2019s guidance, Hallmark Channel recently expanded its content footprint to include a daytime block of lifestyle programming; animated holiday specials produced in collaboration with parent company Hallmark Cards; and the annual \u201cHero Dog Awards\u201d, a red-carpet, star-studded awards ceremony honoring remarkable dogs, created in partnership with American Humane Association.<\/p>\n

Prior to joining Crown Media Family Networks, Vicary was Vice President of marketing for Evening Star Music Group and started her career as Manager of Scheduling and On-air Promotion for MGM Television Networks. Vicary was honored as one of CableFax\u2019s 2012 \u201cMost Powerful Women in Cable\u201d as well as Multichannel News\u2019 Wonder Women, class of 2012.\u00a0 Vicary received a Bachelor\u2019s degree in radio, television and film from California State University, Northridge.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
