\nFestival Opens Call for Entries <\/strong><\/p>\n

Beverly Hills, CA, June 16, 2011\u2026<\/em><\/strong> LA Femme Film Festival\u2019s
\nFounder Leslie LaPage <\/em><\/strong>announced today that the 7^{th<\/sup> Annual LA Femme Film Festival 2011,<\/strong> October 13-16, 2011 has opened its call for entries for the 2011
\nseason. \u201cThis will be an amazing season because LA Femme has expanded the competition categories for this year.\u201d said Leslie LaPage , Founder and Director of the
\nFestival. The \u201cLATE DEADLINE\u201d submission deadline ends May 16th<\/sup><\/strong>. The last
\ndate to submit to the festival is August 22<\/strong> under the \u201cI Forgot Deadline\u201d.

LA Femme is excited to announce this year\u2019s festival competition categories have
\nexpanded to include not only the features, documentaries, shorts, music videos,
\ncommercials and screenplays but will be expanded to include the new<\/strong> categories of animation shorts, animation features, webisodes, mobisodes, and games! LA Femme has responded to the growth in all avenues of world wide media expanding into new categories for the internet, mobile, gaming and animation content. LA Femme will be working closely to assist the winners of the festival with more opportunities to show their work on a national basis.<\/p>\n

The festival will run from October 13th -16^{th<\/sup>, 2011 in Los Angeles, CA screening
\nover 100 films highlighting independent features, shorts, music videos, commercials, special screenings and seminars and much more. The four day event in Los Angeles hosts special networking events at LA hot spots and a gala Awards Ceremony attended by \u201cA\u201d List celebrities. <\/strong>LA Femme is dedicated to celebrating and empowering female artists creating media for a worldwide audience. LA Femme showcases works \u201cby women for everyone\u201d from all over the world. Ms LaPage sates, \u201cNo Festival does what we do for women, we actually work to get our women Filmmakers, Writers, and Producers seen, sold and produced by entertainment
\nprofessionals. We have a very high success rate with distributed and produced
