Beverly Hills, CA, October 3, 2012<\/strong>\u2026 The 8^{th<\/sup> Annual La Femme International Film Festival 2012<\/strong> founder Leslie LaPage is excited to announce the Opening night of the festival which will take place on Thursday October 11, 2012\u00a0 with the premiere of \u201cTerrible Angels\u201d <\/strong>starring Michael Madsen. <\/strong>After party sponsored by Hair & Makeup Artist Network<\/strong> with \u201cTerrible Angels\u201d<\/strong> will immediately follow the movie at Renberg Courtyard<\/strong> 1125 N. McCadden Place Hollywood, CA 90038.<\/p>\n}

This years (4) day fest will highlight our Saturday Night Musical Fundraiser \u201cLA Femme Crooners\u201d<\/strong> on Oct 13th , 7pm; featuring performances by Charlie Rae, <\/strong>the YouTube <\/strong>singing sensation, The Do-Its<\/strong>, a hip 50\u2019s style rock \u2018n\u2019 roll band, and Jhai Norris<\/strong>, an up and coming artist getting lots of attention for her mixtape \u2018P.S.A.\u2019<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Awards Ceremony Show will take place Sunday October 14, 2012 at 7pm; Honoring Katherine Fugate, Mackenzie Phillips, Francia Raisa,<\/strong> and Wendy McLendon-Covey <\/strong>with performances by The<\/strong> Show Off Dolls, <\/strong>who are a versatile burlesque fusion dance company based out of Hollywood, CA and Jhai Norris<\/strong> crooning.<\/p>\n

La Femme Film Festival founder Leslie LaPage stated, \u201cWe have a great line up of very talented musical artists and celebrity film screenings so this year is especially exciting\u201d.<\/p>\n

The four (4) day festival will showcase over 100 independent features, shorts, documentaries, commercials, and music videos honoring some of the most talented women in the entertainment industry. Some of the films will include numerous \u201cA\u201d list celebrities such as Daryl Hannah, Susan Sarandon, Olympia Dukakis, Morgan Fairchild<\/strong>, Billy Zane<\/strong>, and Andie MacDowell.<\/strong><\/p>\n
