LA Femme, Inc's (lafemme.org) primary division is LA Femme Film Festival; Foundation Films, our other main division, is a distribution company open to both men and women independent filmmakers seeking a more creative and out-of-the-box marketing team to distribute their films domestically and internationally. The chief business of film festivals is discovering emerging artists, presenting
alternative points of view, platforming films and filmmakers that have strong

Austin Mr. Mike Austin has recently been added to the LA Femme International Film Festival Vice President of Business Development and Corporate Sponsorship. We are proud to have such a qualified and outstanding professional heading the Business Development and Sponsorship departments. Mike Austin comes to LA Femme with more than decade plus of non-profit and corporate development based in Los Angeles with national campaigns and world wide organizations. Mike brings to the LA Femme organization his warmth, humor, and uncompromising business strategies and passion for improving tangible global topics. Mr. Austin, as a fund raiser in cause-related marketing, as well as a publicist, has had the pleasure of having worked with such renowned organizations as City of Hope, United Way, American Cancer Society, California State Polytechnic University, Mono Lake Committee, Sierra Club, National Auto Sport Association, Direct Relief Foundation, Great American Ink animation art gallery and United States Distance Learning Association. Before global warming, but after John Muir, one of Austin's proudest accomplishments was having arranged for Sierra Club's first-ever corporate sponsorship from a paper products company. That would be like securing enough funds to create a "Save the Arctic" fund. Amongst other achievements, Mr. Austin's holds a bachelor's in religion from University of California and is an articulate corporate accountant. Mr. Austin's sponsorship leader role was inspired by his mother who was active as a nonprofit program director and sister-city program founder throughout his childhood. Mr. Austin lives in Los Angeles.
