9th Annual La Femme International Film Festival Announces Celebrity Studded Selected Films to Screen with Jessica Biel, Sienna Miller, John Savage, Billy Zane, Sally Kirkland, Steven Bauer, Brendan Fraser, Peter Coyote and Ashley Judd.

Beverly Hills, CA, October 1, 2013La Femme Film Festival founder Leslie LaPage announces the 9th Annual La Femme

International Film Festival 2013, films screening, awards ceremony, parties, special screenings and seminar panels from

October 17th – 20th at LA LIVE Regal Theatre Stadium 14 in Los Angeles, CA (1000 W. Olympic Blvd, 90015).

Films featuring Hollywood’s Celebrity Stars: Jessica Biel, John Savage, Sally Kirklind, Steven Bauer, Finola Hughes, Brendan Fraser,  Peter Coyote and a host of others.

LA Femme will screen, at the four (4) day festival, over 100 independent features, short films, documentaries, commercials, music videos and special screenings.

We are excited to announce some of the amazing films participating in the festival:Awakened’ starring Jullianne Michelle (three time Best Actress nominee),  ‘The Truth About Emanuel’, starring Jessica Biel and Kaya Scodelario (Director: Francesca Gregorini), ‘Please Kill Mr. Know it All’, starring Kristina Pesic (Director: Colin Carter and Sandra Feldman), ‘Paolo Soleri: Beyond Form’ narrated by Peter Coyote (Director: Aimee Madsen), ‘Eyes of Thailand’ narrated by Ashley Judd (Director: Wendy Borman), ‘The Bet’ starring Mary O’Connor, directed by Finola Hughes’ , ‘Wild Horses’, with Brooke Shields (Director: Stephanie Martin), ‘Vino Veritas’, starring Carrie Preston of ‘True Blood’ fame (Director: Sarah Knight), ‘Don’t Pass Me By’, starring Sean Stone (Director: Eric Priestly).

“We strive to support the creative efforts of women artists making films”. Stated Leslie LaPage, the festival’s founder . La Femme has surpassed its grass root beginnings in the United States by celebrating women’s contributions to media with films from all over the world. The Hollywood distribution community has sought out our films and Origin Releasing has stepped up to plate offering a fist look at the films screened at the LA Femme.  The four day event in Los Angeles hosts special networking events at LA hot spots, seminars, special screenings, Opening Gala “Psycho Circus” co-hosted by the Hair and Makeup Artisits Network, and Gala Awards Ceremony.  LA Femme is dedicated to empowering women artists creating entertainment.
